The Media Studies, Communication, and Design degree program positions students to thrive in a society that values content creation.
Majors will learn not only to create professional-quality audio, video, graphics, and text, but also to evaluate media environments, technological innovations, and historical contexts so they can adapt to rapidly changing institutions and industries.
Students with a Media Studies, Communications, and Design degree are prepared for a variety of fields based on their areas of interest. That’s why we developed this program to be flexible and pair well with other programs including Art, Business Administration, English, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, History, Medical Humanities, Sociology, Sustainability, and Women’s and Gender Studies. No matter which route you choose, there are a lot of employment opportunities. As part of the program, you will build a professional portfolio and complete an internship that will help equip you with the skills needed for professional success.
